A tomboyish, bad cook, adjudant master of the Kamiya Kasshin Ryuu, Kaoru first runs into our favorite rurouni while one the hunt for the man called Battousai who was tarnishing her school's name. She is dedicated to her father's motto: "The sword that protects life" and acts a bit childlike despite being orphaned as a child.
